Wall mounted electric fireplaces are a type of electric fireplace that can be installed onto, or recessed into, a wall, but don’t sit within a wall like built-in electric fireplaces. A wall mounted electric fireplace will typically provide both the imitation of flames and generate heat using a heater.

A wall mounted electric fireplace is a form of electric fireplace that’s designed to be installed off the ground and on a wall.

Wall mounted electric fires offer similar, if not the same, functionality and most other types of electric fireplaces. This includes the ability to show realistic flame effects and to also generate supplementary heat for the room.

However, the main difference lies with the ability to mount it on a wall.

As an example, our wall mounted electric fireplace is installed on our bedroom wall using screws, which can’t be done with our other types of electric fireplaces such as electric stove and electric insert.

Mounting an electric fireplace on a wall can either be done by fixing the unit directly to the wall or installing it onto a bracket which in turn is fixed to the wall, depending on the model of fireplace.
